πŸš€ Getting Started

How to use the Search Term Harvesting Tool
What does this tool do?
This tool finds converting search terms from your Amazon SP Search Term Report, cross-references them against your existing keyword and product targeting to see what's already targeted, and generates a bulk-ready XLSX file you can upload directly to Amazon Ads to create new campaigns, keywords, and product targets.
1

Select Marketplace & Upload Bulk File

Choose your marketplace (US, UK, or EU) in the top bar, then upload your Bulk File (.xlsx) downloaded from Amazon Ads β†’ Bulk Operations. The tool reads three sheets: Sponsored Products Campaigns, SP Search Term Report, and Portfolios.

πŸ’‘ Make sure to include the Search Term Report when downloading your Bulk File. Select a date range with enough data (14–60 days recommended).
2

Set Filters & Harvest

Configure your filters to find converting terms: Min Orders, Min Clicks, Max ACOS, Min CVR, and Min Spend. Select one or more Portfolios to narrow down, choose a Sort By metric, and pick an Aggregation mode:

β€’ No Aggregation β€” raw per-campaign rows with Campaign and Ad Group columns visible.
β€’ Aggregate by Portfolio β€” combines metrics for the same term within each portfolio.
β€’ Aggregate All Selected β€” merges the same term across all selected portfolios into one row.

Click ⛏ Harvest to run the analysis.

3

Review Cross-Reference & Select Terms

The results table shows each converting term with its metrics and a 5-column targeting checklist:

βœ“ Exact KW βœ“ Phrase KW βœ“ Broad KW βœ“ PAT Exact βœ“ PAT Expanded

This checks your Sponsored Products Campaigns sheet β€” only enabled keywords/targets within the same portfolio count. Broad modified keywords (with +) are properly matched. Use "Select Untargeted" to quickly grab all terms not yet targeted as Exact. Click column headers to sort.

4

Configure & Add to Draft Queue

When terms are selected, a floating bar appears at the bottom. Click Add to Draft Queue to open the configuration modal where you can:

β€’ Destination β€” Add to an existing campaign or create new campaign(s).
β€’ Advertised Products β€” Select ASINs/SKUs to add as Product Ads.
β€’ Targeting Type β€” Choose Exact, Phrase, Broad, +Broad Modified, PAT Exact, PAT Expanded. Each match type creates a separate campaign.
β€’ Starting Bid β€” Average CPC from the data or custom, with optional % or flat adjustment.
β€’ Negative Exact β€” Optionally add negatives in the source campaign to prevent cannibalization.

πŸ’‘ You can add multiple batches to the draft queue β€” e.g. one batch for Portfolio A (Exact), another for Portfolio B (Phrase), etc. Keep harvesting and configuring until you're done.
5

Export All as One Bulk File

The Draft Queue panel at the top shows all your configured batches with summaries. When you're finished, click "Export All as XLSX" to download a single combined bulk file with all campaigns, ad groups, product ads, keywords, product targets, and negatives β€” ready to upload to Amazon Ads β†’ Bulk Operations.
